If I were to fall in love

a "thinkpiece"

If I were to fall in love with the devil

I swear I'd be his best love

Teach him something holy

Rip his heart out of his chest for fun

If I were to fall in love with god

I know I would be the worst

Because to him I'm just a sinner

And he'd rather see me in a hearse

If I were to fall in love with myself

I'd teach my heart to be gentle

Tell my mind

To get over the inconsequential

If I were to fall in love with the earth

I'd apologize for the destruction

We fell in love with money

We couldn't resist the seduction
