If I Were in Love

If i was in love, i would treat her like a queen

And be her humble king, cuddling at her feet

if i was in love, i would mostly act with sacarsm

Make sure she always have a reason to smile

If i was in love, the whole universe would know

Cause it would be the best love story of nations untold

If i was in love, i would learn to be a gentleman

Treat her even more that she had hoped for

If i was in love, i wouldnt promise to buy her fancy things

Rather, i would give her the things she fancies

If i was in love, i would just smile everyday i wake up

Knowing that at least i can fall in love

If i was in love, i would love her beyond expression

And she would be everything i had hoped for

If i were in love, i would write a lot of poems for her

And sing songs of love, from within a captured heart

When the snow falls on her, i will melt the snow

I would have loved to take her to places yet to unfold

But the heart is willing but the pocket is dry

I would hope she believes that the pocket cant be dry forever

I would hope she believes in our happy ever after

For if i was in love, i would call her different names
