If I was a Rainbow

I would empty the tanks

and return every marine mammal, dolphin and whale

back to the sea

because they were born wild and free

like we all like to be.

If I was a Rainbow

I would join hands

with all of the beautiful people

across the lands.

If I was a Rainbow

I would bring promise and hope

so we could deal with our fears, challenges...

and just basically cope.

If I was a Rainbow

I would soar like a bird

up into the skies, heaven

and so much more.

If I was a Rainbow

I would ride on a wave

close to a whale, dolphin, shark

I'd play.

If I was a Rainbow

I'd reach my arms around you

So you'd never feel alone

and never be blue.

If I was a Rainbow

I would shine so bright

and be a twinkle like a star

in the night.

If I was a Rainbow

There would be no discourse

we would be together

for evermore.

If I was a Rainbow

We are a Rainbow.
