Note: In response to the question, "what in the world is this thing called a 'haiku'. First of all, it is a poetry style with roots in Japanese Culture.

It is comprised of three simple, yet captivating and riveting lines. Line one has a maximum of 5-syllables. Line two is made of 7-syllables. The third line three is made of 5-syllables.
