I Won't Be Back by Babs

It wasn't because

he reminded me of

Ichabod Crane.

It wasn't because

of his superior

attitude.

It wasn't because

of his soft voice

that went unheard.

It wasn't because

of his dismissive

voice and tone.

It wasn't because

he reminded me

of past experiences.

It wasn't because

his condescending

words, making me feel small.

It wasn't because

he's the knowledgeable

specialist.

It wasn't because

there were silent

negative vibes.

Because as exiting,

there are choices.

Mine was made.

I won't be back.
