I Won’t Argue Over Tomorrow
Tomorrow too far away

I Won’t Argue Over Tomorrow
I won’t argue over tomorrow,
It has not spoken my name.
Today is the gift I hold close,
Before it fades away.
I won’t chase distant shadows,
Or worry what may come.
For every breath I have today,
Is a blessing yet undone.
The clock can keep on turning,
The seasons come and go.
But this moment sitting with me,
Is all I need to know.
I’ve spent too many hours,
With fears I cannot see.
Now I choose to live this day,
And let my spirit be free.
Tomorrow holds its secrets,
Hidden beyond the sky.
I cannot change its story,
No matter how I try.
So I will hold the sunrise,
And cherish evening’s glow.
The beauty found inside today,
Is all I need to know.
Whatever waits beyond me,
Will find me standing tall.
I’ve survived so many storms before,
I will survive them all.
I won’t argue over tomorrow,
Nor beg the stars to stay.
I’ll simply love this precious life,
And treasure every day.
