I Won The Powerball
Then I made poor choices
I had a machinist job, and I was well-paid.
It was easy for us to have a live-in maid.
Eventually I felt my job was a bore.
Sometimes I took some naps, and my boss heard me snore.
Since my boss fired me, I had no job at all.
I decided right then to play the powerball.
$50,000,000 is the amount I won.
All of my friends thought I was the lucky one.
I bought a new car, a boat, a house, and a yacht.
I went broke partly because of the things I bought.
I gave a large amount to the needy and poor.
A small amount went to a beggar at my door.
I gave money to my church. Now I feel sorry.
I wished I could have my Bishop’s new Ferrari.
I was not wise with my cash. I feel like a scum.
If I don’t get some help soon, I’ll live like a bum.
