I wanted to write, but don’t know how to start.

I wanted to write, but can’t find the words,

To express the fears that cloud my heart,

And face the specter of failure’s grip.

What if success never finds my pen?

Why do I try, knowing the weight of doubt?

Yet still, I yearn to write, to stand against the tide,

Even if my voice fades in the noise of others.

I want to write, though the world may not understand,

For writing is my passion, my dream, my life,

A thread woven through my very being.

If I had a hundred lives, I would choose to be a writer,

Each time, each failure, leading me closer to my truth.
