I want to remember

(the smell of your hair on my pillow)

I want to remember the smell of

your sweat on the pillow.

I think I remember the smell of

your touch in the hall.

I wanted to ask you what kind of

detergent we used for the last 20 years.

I thought I could be in the garden

and still feel you there.

I want to remember the smell of

your sweat on the pillow.

I want to remember the smell of

you in my home.

I thought about wanting to want to

remember the smell of

your sweat on my pillow.

I'm so sorry for what happened.

If you could just, when you get a minute,

if you could just let me know what kind of

detergent we used for the last 20 years.
