"I want to be all of me"
I came up with the idea of writing a five-part-poem, because I love who I am, and who I am becoming. Over the years, I have been giving nicknames. I've grown into some. Some I gave myself. So, I thought of giving these five nicknames' personalities. These five nicknames are really from one amazing woman. they define the most about her.
"Part One "I want to be me" Shanra"
I know I can't sing. But I still love my voice.
With my light skin want to be. I'm that rock n roll, that here and now.
I'm God child. I want to be whatever I am, cause I'm amazing.
I am not you, her, or him, but I am the power within me.
I am what she and that dude want to be like. I like me and the way I look.
I like with money, I the way I look when broke. I like the way you look at me. I like it.
I like my pain, my energy and my voice. It's irritating at times, but I love me, and that irritation.
And with every flaw I still will love me.
" Part two ' I want to be me, "De'Shanda.
She stands 5 7 1/2. A brown skinned woman, who suffered from a history of brown hearts, with eyes that glows like Owls, and a Soul that seeks attention.
A mind that speaks when no one listening. A heart that loves all, even when hated by many.
She walks with pride stride with fire. Legs seen from miles away, and a Soul that shines like Gold has finally been found.
Shes gorgeous and something amazing, with a normal and interesting shape.
"Part Three " I want to be me "Lady Day"
I am a Leo, known as lion. But far from sensitive. I'm the sweetest person you could ever come across.
She's a very loving person and will give her all. She's something creative and talented.
She speaks her mind and say how she feels. Most times in her own world of loving herself.
She is very challenging woman.
"PART FOUR" I want to be me" Marie"
It's me Marie, a Leo having, attitude showing, brown skinned woman.
I'm that one you don't test. A woman that loves herself for who she is.
Marie is very beauteous and vain.
Careless about others think of her. Spiteful sometimes and very daring.
A danger seeking, half human wants to be.
Shes hilarious at times. She has no filter and bites her togue for no one.
Her Aura is loud and doesn't mix with many.
"Part Five" I want to be me "Shany"
Shany has that caramel-colored woman full of ambition.
She loves dressing in big cloths. Most people think she gay, but she just loves dressing comfortable.
She loves cooking. She calls herself "Chef Shandra.
Shany is very athletic and can do anything she puts her mind to.
Shany is an everything type of woman, and mostly loves herself.

At the age of seven. I started likening poetry, and the meaning of what it is and where it come from, it was in seventh grade I started likening poetry. We were reading Edgar Allan Poe, and I cant remember which poem it was. but I loved it.
