I've heard

I've heard

By Iulian StrediePublished about a year ago 1 min read

I've heard of hope, a beacon bright,

Yet I remain in the darkness of night.

I resist the notion of a better tomorrow,

Afraid to let go of all my sorrow.

I've heard of forgiveness, a healing balm,

But my heart is hard like a stone.

I hold on to the hurt and the pain,

Refusing to let go and feel whole again.
