I took him Just to Show I Could
With no regrets, I despised what she had so took it away

I took him Just to Show I Could
I saw the ring, the vow, the quiet pride,
And smiled like sin with nothing left to hide.
He wasn’t lost, not yet, just soft and bored,
A house key hanging, soul ignored.
I took him not for love, nor lustful need,
But like a flame that dances just to feed.
He followed—hungry, blind, misunderstood,
And I? I did it just to show I could.
I kissed him hard then cracked his shell,
Unspooled his stories, sweet as hell.
Then when the thrill had bled away,
I tossed him back, too worn to stay.
She wept, I watched—no guilt, thats true.
Just smoke where once the fire blew.
Power tastes like something good
When you take it—just to show you could.
