I told you, I got you

remember that?

By DPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

Dear,

give me your left hand

so I can put on the ring

that will make you mine

for all of time

and the same last name

til the very end

pour your all

into my cup

and

I will love you

inch by inch

and limb by limb

you and I

will be

us and we

you see the part of me

no one else can see

and

we'll find a town

and live in snow

and play and play

til the day runs dark

and do it all

with no fear in mind

and

your dad

he knows

I'll take care of his girl

til the day I die

but all of this

is yet to be

we say one day

we'll find a way

About the Creator

D

I write love poems about the girl who has a hold over my heart and my life in such a way that neither are my own anymore. The girl I would choose over and over and over again. I love her, and that is the beginning and end of everything.
