I Miss You so badly

I ache for you love and our past

I Miss You so badly

The roses burn with every thought of you

Blue smoke rises softly through the night

My heart still aches for all we used to do

Your memory flickers brightly in the light

I hear your laughter drifting through my mind

Like gentle flames dancing against the air

A love so rare is impossible to find

Still every corner whispers you were there

The fire inside me never fades away

It grows each time your name escapes my lips

I miss the warmth that carried me each day

The tenderness once resting in your kiss

Dark skies surround the pieces of my soul

Yet thoughts of you still glow beneath the pain

The emptiness has taken all control

Still I would walk through every storm again

Your absence leaves a scar I cannot hide

A silent wound that time cannot erase

I carry all this sorrow deep inside

Still searching for the comfort of your face

These burning roses slowly fall apart

Like fragile dreams consumed within the flame

Still every beat remaining in my heart

Continues calling softly for your name

The smoke keeps curling high into the sky

As lonely tears keep falling through the dark

I never thought our love would truly die

Now all that stays is one exhausted spark

If you could hear the sadness in my voice

You’d know this love still lives despite the pain

Through every loss you still remain my choice

A missing piece I’ll never find again
