I miss you, Mom,

In every single way.

I miss your smile,

And your kind words to say.

I miss your touch,

And your gentle embrace.

I miss your love,

And your warm, comforting face.

I miss the way you'd listen,

To all my stories and woes.

I miss the way you'd hold me,

Whenever I was feeling low.

I miss the way you'd cook for me,

And make everything alright.

I miss the way you'd kiss me,

And tuck me in at night.

But though you're not here,

Your love will never fade.

It will always be with me,

A comfort and a shade.

I miss you, Mom,

But I know you're near,

Guiding me always,

And wiping away my tear.
