Teenage Love

Naive is something I never considered myself; a derogatory sense of being.

I was confident, I was intelligent; Not perfect, but close enough to be.

Little did I know that teenage love; would somehow change that all in me.

Overtime I forgot that girl; that all she was would fall.

I lost myself, who was I now;

Someone belonging to someone else.

In retrospect, just way too much. No longer self respect.

My innocence, no longer existed. My self esteem, just once a dream.

I miss that girl, potential unlimited. Teenage love, not what it seemed.

Relationships in my past, I’m not sure could even be referred to that. Many people think of themselves as innocent, but my home life genuinely kept me just that.

Hesitantly optimistic, I feel my inspiration from my pain. An anxious, bipolar single mom, trying to somehow raise a well rounded teenage girl! Lol.Trying to gain wisdom through my downfalls, and spread hope through my success, despite them
