I Messed Up

He looked into my eyes,

And I gave him a smile.

I messed up.

I walked up to him,

With stars in my eyes.

I loved his style.

I messed up.

He asked for my number,

And I dialed.

I messed up.

We talked late into the night,

About everything and nothing.

I messed up.

Now, I'm walking down the aisle,

In a dress pure white.

I see tears in his eyes,

And realize,

I truly messed up my boring, broken life,

To be with the man of my dreams.

Happiest forever,

and he made me believe,

A happy mistake exists.
