I'm Not a Chef

(but something is cooking...)

there may have been some oversight

several things were overlooked

i didn’t realise until i'd done it

and i went to work cooked

to much over from the night before

sleep wasn’t an option i could take

i kinda slipped and hit the pip

and went to work baked

i came in three hours before my shift

i just right up there and fronted

i made my lunch and grabbed my coat

and i went to work munted

i got issues with sobriety

couldn’t be straight if i tried

i got on the Wonthaggi whistle

and i went to work fried

i didn’t sleep the night before

i didn’t sleep for a week

i got on the glass barbecue

and i went to work tweaked

spent all night before trying to score

a waiting game of hunt and hunted

ended up getting some really good shit

and i went to work cunted

i've tried to abstain

and it really sucked

so i doubled my dose

and i went to work fucked

anything anywhere anytime

and just so you know

take it don’t fake it

and it's fucked to work you go!

Great twisted rhymes! Anytime I start my work (this one for money), physically I’m going away from my writing. I wrote many books in my head while being at work. It’s the most weirdest state of them all - knowing that I live on a distant galactic nobody knows about until I pen my thoughts.
