I'm Dying to See You Again
I Would Do Anything For You
If I died, would you see me then?
Maybe then, you'd treat me like a human?
Do I have to die to see you again?
I'm dying to see you again.
-
If I died, would you bring flowers my way?
and tell me things you wanted to say
when you couldn't?
Would you set aside your foolish pride
and finally admit all of your lies?
... You wouldn't.
-
If I died, would you feel me then?
Would you close your eyes to kiss my skin
in memories lost, remembering when?
Regretting all the years we could have spent?
-
If I died, would you listen then?
Could you hear my sighs out in the open?
Could you live with all these words unspoken?
If I died, would you hear my screaming then?
-
The air here is growing thin
It's so close, I can taste it
Loving you was blood well spent
You're in my dreams, I'm turning in
I'm dying to see you again
I'm dying to see you again.
-
When I die, will you sweep away the leaves
that gather around me, here, where I sleep?
Would you stay awhile because you miss me?
Press your ear to my grave to hear me breathe?
Would you finally come back here, for me?
-
If I died, would you see me then?
Maybe then, you'd treat me like a human?
Do I have to die to see you again?
I'm dying to see you again.
I'm dying to see you again.
