I'm Angel....

Black is beautiful.

By Kuric AdemPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

I am Angel, a gentle soul of ebony grace,

In these verses, I wish to embrace,

With words that caress, not judge or oppress,

A tapestry of love, where fairness finds its place.

See me, dear reader, beyond color's sway,

For my heart's rhythm knows no hue's cliché,

In each beat, the symphony of unity plays,

Where understanding blossoms in a harmonious display.

My skin, kissed by sun's golden light,

A testament to resilience, shining bright,

In every curve, a story of strength takes flight,

A tale of triumph, overcoming the darkest night.

Look deep into my eyes, windows to my soul,

An ancient wisdom, etched in coal,

Within their depths, compassion takes control,

Inviting you to tread a path towards an empathetic goal.

My hair, a crown of coils, an unruly maze,

Embracing freedom, unyielding in its ways,

Each strand dances to its own rhythmic sway,

A celebration of uniqueness, defying society's gaze.

My voice, like velvet whispers in the breeze,

Carrying echoes of ancestors' pleas,

A symphony of resilience that never ceases,

Demanding justice, breaking down prejudice's creases.

In my presence, find solace and peace,

A refuge where love's sweet symphony won't cease,

For I am Angel, the embodiment of grace,

A testament to the beauty found in diversity's embrace.

Let us walk together, hand in hand,

Through a world where fairness firmly stands,

Where love, respect, and justice expand,

And the beauty of every soul shines grand.
