I Know We'll Meet Again
For Now You're Needed Elsewhere
I used to be scared of the setting sun
As its warmth and light would leave me behind
I saw chances not taken, dreams dying young
Another lie looping around my mind
I counted all the times I was pushed aside
From a dreamy destiny I didn’t believe
But was always humming deep inside
A song searching for someone to receive
And each time I wept, it would come back to me
On the morning breeze with fuzzy wishes
Once out of sight, then on my mind, now all I can see
The peace of a promise that never misses
Wherever you are, never run out of light
As I, still here, will never fear the night
