I Have a Dream

Personal. Truthful. Me.

"DREAM BIG. DON'T GIVE UP!" I was once told.

I have a dream that one day we will all live in peace and in equality. That no one should be discriminated and isolated from a society regarding their religion, color, race, etc.

I have a dream that someone will find the cure for every single disease that exists, because being on pain killers that do not kill the pain is definitely aggravating, because not being able to control something you have and not knowing if you’ll even live one more year after you were diagnosed is depressing.

I have a dream that one day there will be no hatred towards those who are different — towards those who had grew up differently and those who had been taught differently and those who had lived a different lifestyle than us.

I have a dream that one day we will all unify as one and come to an understanding of the fact that we are all human; we are all somewhat the same. However, those who take the life of another innocent person is human, but an evil human — a human who is mentally ill.

I have a dream that one day all inaccurate stereotypes will fade away and become irrelevant, because categorizing people/groups could be dangerous and making ignorant assumptions will make conflict resolution difficult.

I have a dream that one day children who are like my seven year old sister will eventually stop watching those really bizarre toy reviews that are on YouTube simply because having them played at full volume in the house tends to get really irritating,

I have a dream that one day people will not be so judgmental. Why can’t we criticize someone from the inside rather than quickly making fun of someone due to their physical appearance? We’re all different on the outside but are somewhat similar on the inside.

I have a dream that one day I will get my university diploma, because the feeling of being successful would be unexplainable after some possible stressful years. Just because the internal feeling of success would be so satisfying, and the thought that you’ve got what you have been going for your whole life would be wonderful.

I have a dream one day I will be a software engineer working for Google. What a dream it would be to work for an enormous company and help with the process of constructing their multiple different devices, as well as the design and look of their headquarters; that is something I’d die to work in.

I have a dream that one day I will have a house in Dubai. Imagine living in one of the most luxurious cities in the world with a lively nightlife scene. Imagine going out every day with a huge number of things you can do despite how expensive it is to live there. It’s definitely something I’d consider, though.

I have a dream that one day I will understand why we are learning about the history of Greece... living in Canada. While instead we could be learning about what’s happening in today’s world. However, we are being taught about pointless things that we only memorize in our brains just for our visual mark and then we end up forgetting it the day after the test because of how irrelevant it is to us.

I have a dream that one day my family will continue to be successful and happy, because that is what family is all about; helping each other out through rough and hard times, and motivating each other every single day.

I have a dream that one day I will help all those in need because helping out sets a positive vibe and tone. Because generosity and giving promotes longevity to the people and because I’m fortunate to have a family, house, food, a job... so why not help those who do not have any of that?

I have a dream I will see the northern lights. Imagine seeing all the different colors in the sky, shades of green, yellow, blue, and purple. Looking up far at the sky and looking at something that’s extremely rare, it would be great to say: I’ve once seen the most amazing thing ever!
