You used to be purple heart; the emoji you liked to shut me down with

your way of keeping me around until I no longer served you.

Your purple love was suffocating

and I met another like you.

She loved me for a reason and a season

her purple love left when someone gave her more

the purple left stained in my life.

I am tainted with your purple memory

and I hate it.
