“I Had a Dream of Two Suns”
Two Suns, Two Moons of Peace

Author’s Note
This little poem came from a dream that felt more like a memory, a soft glimpse of a world where light doubled instead of dimmed, where people remembered how to smile, and where the sky carried every color, it ever held. I wrote it simply to capture that feeling, the kind of dream that stays with you long after you wake.
“I Had a Dream of Two Suns”
Two Suns, Two Moons Bring Peace

I had a dream there were two suns and two moons,
hanging in the sky like old friends who finally showed up.
It was the year 3000, but nothing felt futuristic
It felt like the universe had finally exhaled.
Before me stood a sky painted in rainbow colors,
soft blues melting into gold, violets drifting into roses.
And everywhere I looked,
people were hugging, smiling, laughing,
as if the whole world had remembered how to be gentle again.
In the dream, the two suns warmed the earth while the two moons kept watch.
Flowers were blooming in colors I’ve never seen before,
trees were growing tall and calm,
and every breeze carried a little piece of peace.
It wasn’t a prophecy.
It wasn’t a warning.
It was just a dream, a reminder that somewhere inside us,
We still believe in a world where light multiplies instead of fading.
