When the other day, I found this guitar
in a little thrift shop off the beaten path
it brought a special smile to my face

A unique looking
all-white acoustic
parlor guitar, it was
*
With something
I'd never seen before
on an acoustic, a white fretboard
*
It had that sound
that made you
just want to strum it
*
And so I did
And even with it being a little out of tune
it still sounded so pretty
*
The older lady that runs the shop
said make me an offer
I said I really couldn't say
*
She said how about twenty, Cowboy
I said
Sold.
