Been tricked too many times before.

Leave me questioning what do you want from me?

Been let down so many times before.
So many times I forget the running score.

So many times, I can no longer ignore.

If I read your mind, I wonder what it would say,
What emotions would be put on display?
There is nothing left that I can say,
Why bother when you lie to me every day?
