I Couldn't Think of Anything Else to Say.

There it was, out in the open.

By Brittany 🩷Published about a year ago • 1 min read

I couldn't think of anything else to say.

There it was, out in the open.

Those words, no longer lingering like a full cloud above us.

No longer sitting in the middle of the room like a bull preparing to run.

No more metaphors or band-aids,

No more apologies or anger, just a dejected sort of silence.

The calm after the storm.

I couldn't think of anything else to say.
