I Can

I always did.

Just a kiss for tonight and we'll be left wanting

Only move for a minute but I'll know you mean it.

I can trace my fingers all along your face.

I'll know every inch of it, I'll know the feel.

I need that push, your pull, I can't love you on my own.

Tracing lips of static emotion I can't love you on my own.

Just a kiss for tonight and I'll know you mean it, when you feel it.

Just a glance will do, don't try to read it, just feel it when we move.

Just a taste, don't gulp or swallow, remember the tingle.

Remember the fragment of fragrance only you can conjure.

Move for tonight, just let me linger.

Maybe then, if you would, if I could,

I can love you.
