who is he to me?

whom is he?

he is not holy here,

and we are not at all certain

he is not at all gone.

his spirit is still real

even if he's not.

he's the only one-

he can be all people,

and he can be nobody

all at the same time.

he can't die

cause he was never alive

so he still has hope to spare.

we have his hope to share,

and it scares me to be loved like that.

i forgot how to be loved like that;

how to let myself.

count your blessings if you can't relate,

let me introduce myself, past due:

i am he.

this one and that, and

we are all in this together, and

none of us is safe

if any refuse to sacrifice some, and

for this we will lose it all together
