I am dying, slowly slipping away
My life's journey reaching its final day
The end is near, I feel it inside
My soul is ready, but my heart wants to hide
Memories flash before my eyes
Of love and laughter, and sweet goodbyes
I hold them close, as I take my last breath
Embracing the end, with no fear or regret
I am dying, but my spirit remains
A legacy of love, that forever sustains
In the hearts of those, I leave behind
My soul lives on, in memories divine
So do not weep, for my time has come
My journey is done, my race is run
I am dying, but I am at peace
My spirit is free, to find eternal release.
