If I could see my own heart I think

It would bear the indentation of your fingertips

Your lips and your palms in the shape they took when

They kissed mine

And held my face or gripped my thighs

Or when they used to wrap around my throat

But I can’t

Just like I’ll never know

What a guy like you would do for a girl like me

Hypothetically speaking

You know, if you could

If you weren’t stuck

If the only person you ever chose in your life

Wasn’t your first choice anymore

If you were free

Would you move mountains to be with me?
