Someone knows better

Someone's always smarter

It could've been handled better

Or there's someone else who's faster

Someone else is prettier

There's someone who did it better

If you have ten then they have twelve

If yours is wet, then theirs is wetter

If you think your idea original

I assure you it is not

Or try to break a record

That someone else has got

You may think that you are special

Or that your creation is unique

But under further investigation

You need a new technique

For no matter where you go

Or what you choose to do

Even if you're good at it

There's someone who's better at it than you
