Humanity's Glory

In all of the world there is a parade

A celebration of choices we made.

We all march and the party goes on

For a brief precious moment, nothing is wrong.

Sadly though, the show comes to an end

"Until the next time we meet, my friend."

Says a small farewell, in the wind.

Time to move on, fences that we need to mend.

Life will never stand still

It keeps turning like the wheel of a mill.

This when the story must be told

in hopes of a better future to unfold

Take the time to write the story

For one day it will be humanity's glory.
