You’re mad because the car broke down
The car you’ve always had
Your neighbor’s wife is fooling ‘round
Are things for you that bad
You hate your job, you hate your pay
Yet you’re still getting paid
There’s someone who won’t eat today
Perhaps you’d like to trade
You don’t dine out, your budget’s tight
New shoes would sure be neat
A wheelchaired vagrant needs a bite
That vagrant has no feet
Your kids are healthy, get good grades
They’re very rarely sick
You know someone that now has aids
What habits must YOU kick
A lady’s sick with bills sky high
And now she’s facing ruin
You’ve got a savings to get by
So tell me, “How you doin?”
