He brought out his guns

to show his strength

She was not impressed.

He flexed with all his might

to show dominance

She was not impressed

He boasted

of frivolous deeds

She definitely was not impressed

He pumped himself up

in front of her

She yawned and said 'Not impressed'

He flexed his Alpha skills

till it hurt

She sighed, unimpressed

He told her of his stamina

going on and on

She rolled her eyes, so very not impressed

He postured Like a peacock

with elegance

She shook her head still unimpressed

He wept like a child

when old yeller died

She held him in her arms

finally impressed.

Don't ask why I wrote this. I am trying to write a story for a prompt and this kept popping in my head. If I didn't write it down, I fear it would have blocked other ideas floating around in my mind.
