How quickly people change
Poem by Alan Firmin
How quickly people, will turn on you,
Minds made up, from watching news,
So much fear, emanates these days,
As people are lost, and set in their ways,
A one way stream, of warped information,
That penetrates deep, changing our vibration,
Blinkered too, the most obvious truth,
As we watch our children, lose their youth,
If not for you, then who do you fight?
When do the real ones, stand up for what’s right?
There is no hero, coming to save,
It’s down to the people, or we go to the grave,
Shadows loom, yet still they see,
The trap closes in, they think they’re free,
But one thing they, have missed completely,
Is the human race, will not go meekly,
There is strength in you, to make this stand,
Send a message, we knows it’s planned,
No longer will we, bow down to this fate,
We can once again, make this world great.
