I'm Loving The Gone

Gone are the days we assume all is well

the days of buying into the crap that they sell

Gone are the days we crawl back under our shells

Days covering up that dank, nasty smell

The one that assured us that nature is fine

That the things we are doing won't matter, in time

Time to start planting those seeds bringing a change

To weed out the vile and give it a name

It's time to start....

Loving the gone

*

Planting petunias and petite pastel pansies

Some mum and magnolias

Dazium and fresh daisies

Trying to control the

Bee population

Keeping bees happy

Fighting air pollution

Keep them bright eyed and bouncy,

Stripy, energetic and fluffy

Buzzing and playful, flourishingly healthy

Powerful bees, fueled for a world of "We's"

Wild, dodgy and stealthy

A bunch of "bees-knees

Mix it with love some rain and the sunny

Keeping it clean, maintaining the carefree

Making sure they are safely multiplying while we

Plant a garden for more than the beauty we see

Taking care of our bees

And the world under our feet

Accepting the task of our responsibilities

Keeping up with the Jones' and backyard royalty

Paying homage to nature and that beautiful Chelsea

Lovely, we need to save the bees. Strangely today, when I returned from the store and pulled vehicle into the garage, I saw an enormous bumblee on the hood. I took a piece of paper and tried to get her onto it. She scooted, I tried again. She went to the floor. I tried again and she scooted - flew- a bit. Tried again and she finally lifted off and flew out of the garage. I couldn't let her be trapped!
