How My Love Blooms for You

My love blooms for you
In colours I never knew,
It grows where my heart was empty,
And makes the old feel new.

It reaches up like flowers
Searching for the morning sun,
Growing stronger every day,
Since the day our love begun.

My love blooms wild around you,
It has no need to hide,
For every petal holds a feeling
I have carried deep inside.

There are reds for all the passion,
There are purples, rich and deep,
There are little buds of memories
That my heart will always keep.

You came into my garden
When the ground was cold and bare,
And somehow flowers started growing
Simply because you were there.

I never asked for perfect,
I never needed grand,
I only wanted someone
Who would gently hold my hand.

And through the changing seasons,
When the rain begins to fall,
My love will keep on blooming,
Growing stronger through it all.

When Autumn takes the petals
And Winter chills the ground,
Beneath the earth my love for you
Will still be living sound.

Then Spring will come and find us,
With another year gone through,
And every little flower
Will remind my heart of you.

So if you ever wonder
Just how much I love you so,
Look into my garden, darling,
And watch my feelings grow.

For long after words are silent,
And our younger days are through,
Somewhere there’ll be a flower
Still blooming there for you. ❤️
