How many thoughts and prayers we have to hear on the news or the media?

How many victims will we hear on the news?
Whether dead or alive listed
Where is the change?
Where is the love?
Where is the humanity?
How did people go crazy?
Mental or Terrorism
Which is the blame?
How much more can we handle?
Planning on a rampage or terror attacks
causing more chaos and riots
While we millions of people risk
Day by Day
Night after night
How many times do we have to repeat this?
Over and Over again

Are we back to square one?
Fast Forward,
Are we the next ones?
To live or die
Which is which
Should we fight or give up?
When will weapons be lowered?

When the Robots Took My Job
This is for RM Stockton's Write Club prompt for the month of April: AI Please allow me to vent. For "college," I went to a scam school that is now closed. We were promised internships that were never spoken of again after admissions, and we were promised help finding jobs. The first time I went to the career counselor's office, she was completely frazzled. She had no idea what to do with us, the film majors. The second time I visited her office, I let her know that I'd found myself a job, and she was visibly relieved.
