We live in a society where having it all figured out is essential from time to time. Our upbringing has always taught us to be focused on becoming the most successful out of the lot. While it is important to learn to hustle and propel forward towards our dreams, we are rarely taught how to deal with failure. I wish we normalized the state of nothingness, of not knowing what our next step is. The terror that comes with being lost scares so many people to rush into decisions that they go on to regret later. It is only when you get lost in the chaos of your uncertainties that you become certain about the purpose of your life.

I hope you dare to take the time that needs to be given to yourself and you don't let societal expectations of timelines rush you into making a major life decision. You deserve the ease and the time to work on your dreams one step at a time. Work on your dreams for yourself and not fit into the structured program of life that is deemed to be optimum.
