In the neon-lit embrace of Tokyo,

A boy with hopes too big for words,

He sensed a draw, a timeless trace, among the skyscrapers, trains, and rush.

A local story from the past,

Where the mountains sing and the stars fade,

A young lady with braids and a handmade veil,

Beyond the dale, I felt Tokyo's call.

A cosmic dance, a twist of fate

Their spirits did exchange by magical coincidence, and she viewed his world with a modern eye.

Her past romance was visible to him.

The bustle of the metropolis, the singing of the village

They felt at home in locations where they believed they belonged.

Nonetheless, memories became strong and long.

They'd yearned for each other's worlds.

Two hearts connected by time strands,

Climbing the steep mountain of fate,

Looking for a name, a symbol

That fate does intersect with love.

Their spirits meet despite being on different planets.

Tokyo boy and village fleet, their souls forever incomplete, in nightmares that made their hearts skip beats.

Until the comet's track appeared,

They wanted to discover the way to love.

In destiny's knotted web,

Love bestowed their names to them.
