Hopes for a new chapter

When duty calls

When time moves on

And pages turn

And chapters are written;

Some may laugh

Some may cry

Some may suffer

Some may rise

Yet the emptiness

It still reigns

A new feeling?

I hope it paints

***

My heart

With colour

For so long

A blank canvas;

***

About time

To add more

To add spice

To add galore

To add life!

***

Tis’ but what

I hope for.

To find myself;

To become more.
