Pitching our tent

Underneath a hopeful sky

My girlfriend and I

Our third time in as many days

As we make our loving way

To pastures new.

***

Our loving arms hold each other tightly

As our memories imbued

Beneath sunshine and rain

Upon all life's wonderful terrain.

***

Our bodies entwined

‘Neath canvas skies

The sound of lovers heartbeats

I can still hear down all these years.

***

We still love to explore

Have adventures anew

A campervan these days

For a modicum of comfort.

***

My wife and I

Bodies entwined

Locked lovers eyes

‘Neath azure skies

The love of my life and I.

***

We have never needed a house

A bricks and mortar palace

Just our arms wrapped around each other tightly

Eyes locked in love through day and night

That's what home means to me.
