Home is a place within me, incorruptible and free

The place where no one tells me what I can and cannot be

It dwells within my core through every fire, every storm

Regardless of resistance it refuses to conform

It pushes my feet forward when I feel too weak to stand

It brushes back my tears, reminds me who I am

Its' tenacity is endless, its' compassion never dries

It shares my greatest victories and gives me wings to fly
