Home And Apartment Life
Both are different.
One day I'll find a place quiet and still
Where I can see the sun over the hill.
I'd want enough space where comfort can stay.
I would write poems and crochet gifts all day.
I was raised in a brick house, red and white.
Winter fires kept us all safe through the night.
Dad played accordion tunes that I knew.
My bedroom walls were a bright yellow too.
Outside our apartment, sirens are near.
We awake to the sounds that bring cheer.
Ordered yarn is left in front our door.
Mail we receive helps us to help the poor.
Yesterday white clouds appeared in the sky.
This happened in the middle of the day.
This morning strong gusts of wind made trees sway.
In my quick nap I saw the children play.
