Holy Month Of Ramadan
The Month which purifies us
n the month of Ramadan, a holy time,
We fast from dawn till sunset's chime,
We pray and read the Quran's rhyme,
And do good deeds to reach sublime.
The crescent moon signals its start,
As we cleanse our minds and hearts,
A month of blessings, a month of art,
As we seek forgiveness and a new start.
Our tongues refrain from sinful words,
Our ears from rumors and slurs,
We strive to be kind to all herds,
And to purify ourselves like birds.
As the sun sets, we break our fast,
Sharing with family and friends to last,
Feasting on dates and food amassed,
Grateful for every blessing amassed.
The last ten days are especially blessed,
As we seek Laylatul Qadr's quest,
In prayer and supplication addressed,
To seek Allah's mercy and be blessed.
As the month draws to an end,
Our hearts are full, our souls amend,
We thank Allah for every amend,
And pray our good deeds extend.
Ramadan is a month of devotion,
Of love, forgiveness, and emotion,
A time for spiritual promotion,
And a reminder of our life's motion.

Fasting
Fasting, a practice of the soul, A time to nourish and make whole. A pause from our daily grind, To seek a higher state of mind. As we refrain from food and drink, Our thoughts and feelings start to sync. We tune in to our inner voice, And find a sense of peace and poise. The hunger pangs may come and go, But we persist, and let them slow. We turn our focus to the divine, And feel a sense of grace and shine. Fasting, a journey of the heart, A time to reflect and restart. We shed the burdens of our past, And find a path that's built to last. So let us fast with love and care, And open up to all that's rare. For in this space of stillness true, We find a way to start anew. As we fast, we let go of excess, And become more mindful and selfless. We connect with our deeper selves, And gain a sense of spiritual wealth. The physical benefits are clear, But the mental ones are far more dear. We gain clarity and focus anew, And find the strength to see things through. Fasting, a time to heal and grow, To let our inner light shine and glow. As we journey through this sacred time, May we find joy, peace, and sublime
