Poem

Hollie

This story is dedicated to the woman who saved my lifeMy rock and my angel, the one to be my wife

A heart as soft as dough and a shell harder than stoneShe is the reason I wake each morning and never feel alone

A personality so wild, so fruitful and so pureShe is the band aid to my wound and the syringe for every cure

A dozen and one piercings and a body full of inkHer skin tells a story, a journal to make you think

An appetite so colourful, so whole and completeA Wetherspoon’s or a Wisper, two courses she’ll gladly greet

A loveable laugh and a flavoursome little smileShe’s the checkpoint beyond the horizon, the reason for crawling miles

A wonderful woman I am to marry by moonA gleeful soul I can entwine with and soon

My alter and my cornerstone, the blue sky to my doveShe is the most perfect woman, and the one I’ll always love

The future is bright and open to embellishThe love in my heart continues to burn and forever it will cherish

The seed has been planted and our lives will start to growI love her more than anyone may think, or ever even know
