I’ve worked hard all week
From the papaya dawn
To mauve dusk
Counting the days
Till I get on that flight
Jumping in and out the shower
Crawling in and out of the bed
Rinse and repeat

About time I’ve had a day off
Sitting in the bed
The sun’s on my face
Counting the days
Till I get on that flight
The itineraries in my head
The maps on my phone
Drink in my lap
Counting the days
Till I get on that flight
And here I am
Making sure everything is fine
Don't want anything to go wrong
Counting the days
Till I get on that flight
