Hold Me Now, Here and Now
Never let me go my love never

Hold Me Now… Here and Now
Hold me now… here and now,
Not tomorrow,
Not when the world has quietened,
Not when every storm has passed,
Not when life decides
The timing is finally right.
Hold me
While the rain still falls,
While the winds still wander,
While unanswered questions
Circle the edges of our hearts.
For love has never waited
For perfect moments.
It has always found its home
Among life’s beautiful imperfections.
Wrap your arms around
The silence between us.
Listen carefully…
Can you hear it?
Two hearts,
Once strangers,
Now learning
The same gentle rhythm.
Time has travelled with us,
Leaving footprints
Across forgotten pathways.
We have gathered memories
Like shells upon a shoreline,
Some smooth,
Some broken,
Each one reminding us
That every journey
Shapes the soul.
There were days
When loneliness became
An uninvited companion,
Sitting quietly beside us,
Teaching patience
When all we longed for
Was understanding.
There were nights
When stars hid themselves,
Leaving only darkness
To whisper uncertain dreams.
Yet somehow,
Hope refused to surrender.
Perhaps love
Has always been
Like rivers finding oceans.
No matter how many twists,
No matter how many turns,
The destination
Was written long before
Either knew the way.
So hold me now…
Not because forever
Can be promised,
But because this moment
Is already priceless.
Let the world continue
Its endless rushing.
Let clocks chase hours
Across busy skies.
For just a little while,
Let time forget us.
Here…
Where breathing slows,
Where worries loosen,
Where hearts remember
What peace feels like.
Your embrace
Needs no explanation.
No grand speeches.
No perfect words.
Only warmth.
Only trust.
Only the quiet certainty
That sometimes
Being held
Says everything
Language never could.
If tomorrow arrives
With different roads,
We will still have
This beautiful moment,
Folded carefully
Inside our memories,
Like pressed flowers
Between treasured pages.
For love
Is never measured
By how loudly it speaks,
But by how gently
It stays.
So if the world
Ever becomes too heavy,
If shadows gather
At your door,
If hope grows weary…
Come back here.
To this heartbeat.
To these arms.
To this promise.
Hold me now…Here…And now.
