Hodge-Podge the Hedgehog

Funny, Fickle Critter

There once was a hedgehog named Hodge-Podge.

He would lodge and dodge,

and go here and there,

and he danced and pranced,

and swerved and curved,

and jumped and jived,

and dipped and flipped,

and wiggled and giggled,

and parted and started,

and bumbled and tumbled,

and skipped and tripped,

everywhere he went.

Because of all this wild activity,

his natural proclivity,

his curious creativity,

and his funny-fun festivity,

he was always quite a mess!

At the end of the day,

all over himself, he would have...

bits of grits,

and jam and spam,

and feathers and treasures,

and rags and bags,

and odds and ins,

and maybe a fidget spinner,

and last night's dinner,

and blocks and over-sized Crocs,

and knickknacks and Kit-Kats,

and bus tickets and thickets,

and toilet paper and a random foot scraper,

and tealights and blue ballet tights,

and bright red socks and alarm clocks,

and small hats and baseball bats...

At the end of the day,

hardly anyone could tell that he was even a hedgehog!

He was quite the frightful sight!
